The manufacturer has changed the style of the lid on this item. They are in the process of changing over to the new style lid which will be flat instead of dome shaped and will not be vented. In order to keep our prices as low as possible, we ship these items directly from the manufacturer to our customers.
Please be advised that they are in the process of switching from the old style lid to the new style lid as their inventory is depleted and we have no way of knowing which style lid you will receive with your pot.
